Colibri World recently had the pleasure of working with NEOMA Business School's International Project Managers on the Rouen campus, as part of an intensive training programme dedicated to PM², the European Union's reference framework for effective, structured project management.
In a rapidly changing international context, organisations need to rely on methods that are both structured and adaptable in order to manage their projects effectively. The aim of this training course was to support project managers in improving the implementation of their international projects, based on the fundamentals of PM².
Methodology PM² today offers a solid framework for structuring projects, while providing the flexibility that is essential when faced with complex and uncertain environments.
During this session, participants explored in depth the pillars of PM²: its overall structure, its governance model, its various phases and the associated deliverables.
This approach has enabled us to better understand the logic of the «PM² House», This is the foundation of the methodology, and identifies the levers for effective, controlled project management.
Group work and discussions helped the students to grasp the key concepts while adapting them to the realities of the international projects carried out by the NEOMA Business School teams.
In addition to tools and processes, the training highlighted the importance of states of mind PM². The success of a project depends largely on human qualities: leadership, communication, collaboration and adaptability.
This human dimension, central to PM², encourages constructive interaction and informed decision-making within project teams.
Particular attention has been paid to risk management, a key issue for international projects. Participants worked on concrete strategies for anticipating the unexpected, adapting quickly and maintaining project performance in uncertain contexts.
Thanks to practical case studies, the teams were able to develop personalised approaches for navigating unpredictable environments while remaining aligned with project objectives.
Discussions and workshops have helped to promote the best practices in project management and to reinforce a culture of continuous improvement. This collective dynamic contributes to the skills development of our teams and the sustainability of our projects.
Colibri World warmly thanks NEOMA Business School for its confidence, as well as all the participants for their commitment and the quality of the discussions during this training course.
Special thanks go to the teams at QRP International for their guidance and support in making this collaboration a success.
We also wish all the participants every success in their PM² certification.
