Colibri world provided training to the CNRS to improve the quality of European research projects with PM2

PM² training at the CNRS: an inspiring and formative week

Last week, I had the honour and privilege of taking part in an exceptional training course at the CNRS on PM², the European Union's project management methodology. The experience was not only enriching but also extremely inspiring.

Three intense days with CNRS experts

A big well done to the European Project Engineers (IPE) and the CNRS project managers who made these three days of training as intense as they were inspiring. The objective was clear: to adapt PM² to the specific context of European research projects. And what a success it was!

A multifaceted exploration of European project management

We immersed ourselves in the many aspects of project management, from set-up to completion. The emphasis was on risk analysis and adopting the best response strategies in an agile and uncertain world.

PM²: more than a methodology, a philosophy

The training highlighted the importance of the human aspect in project management, in line with PM²'s philosophy. We explored its governance model, its phases, its artefacts, and above all, how these elements contribute to insightful and equitable project management.

Practical workshops for better project management

Practical workshops enabled us to analyse the specific context of the CNRS for optimising the management of European research projects. This helped to identify strategies for continuous improvement based on past experience.

The ultimate goal: excellence and collaboration

The aim of this training was to implement PM² to improve collaboration, project quality and establish a continuous improvement mechanism.

Many thanks to the entire CNRS team for their confidence, commitment and energy, and to QRP International France for their efficient support. These exciting exchanges marked an important step in our ongoing quest for excellence in the management of European research projects.
